Claire grew up with a music stand and dots on the page. She attended Trinity College of Music, where she learned to play faster, harder dots. She's since spent many years teaching others to read and play those same dots. When Zuleika came along, somehow the dots seemed to get in the way, so the music stand came down and she's learned to play in the moment.

She finds the compositions Mark presents very evocative of the things that have come to matter in her life - nature with a Celtic twist - capturing the freedom of the great outdoors and the flow of the river.
